Our aff argues that Epistemic restrictions on Wind Power in debate produce a vision of history that assumes the Indian is already dead and wipes away the significance of genocide and colonialism. This model of education teaches us that we ought to think like 'proper', educated subjects who make rational decisions and test knowledge and truth claims from an objective, neutral image of knowledge itself.
We read a story from the Blackfoot Indians called "Buffalo and Eagle Wing" about the Buffalo and the Wind.
We also read a story about Indian boarding schools and then says that memory and visions are key to interrupt the narrative of debate and education that itself sprang from the reservation schoolhouse.
